How Adding Third Parties Effects Harris' Polling

Many polls ask who voters would choose if the ballot included third parties, and if it didn't. This gives us a sense of how third party options, like RFK Jr. and Stein, effect the polling of Harris and Trump.

Having third parties on the ballot helps Harris' polling in some states and hurts in others. Right now, it helps polling in Pennsylvania and Texas but hurts in Nevada and Arizona. Whether this helps Harris or Trump win the presidency depends on what combination of states Harris needs to win.

The plot below show's how Harris' present probability of leading the polls is effected by whether the poll includes third parties.
